Bhavanishankar is an independent practitioner, teacher, and researcher whose work has emerged from approximately sixty years of study, sādhana, and direct engagement with the philosophical and contemplative traditions of India and Asia — including the Darśanas, Vedic and Āgamic traditions, Yoga, Tantra, Vedānta, Buddhism, Zen, and Vajrayāna. Over time, Trika has become his primary model of reality: the direct recognition of Consciousness as the reality expressing itself as the entirety of manifestation.
He currently facilitates a weekly Goṣṭhī — a living field of teaching, inquiry, and direct experience centered on Trika and Recognition — through Trika Pīṭham.
